It is nice to have a day that reminds us to not only be thankful one day out of the year, but to find the blessings throughout each and every day. This morning we started off the day by heading to Church, praying Charlie would be able to make it though an hour Mass. We survived and so happy that Charlie was good enough that Jake and I were both able to have our ears and hearts listening. The priest was explaining how hard it can be to be thankful at times, but by just getting into the habit saying 5 things you are thankful for each morning when you open your eyes, will help us appreciate what we have so much more.
As you gather around the dinner table this Thanksgiving, tell one another how much you love and appreciate them. It is the most powerful thing you can say to someone who means a lot to you. Be happy for the blessings we enjoy at Thanksgiving and the time you get to spend with each other.
Today I am thankful for: - A husband that works SO hard to keep life going well. AND who likes cooking...Guess who is making the sweet potato casserole now? - A son who is such a blessing and never fails to put a smile on my face everyday! - A passion turned into a business that is ever growing. - Our families blessing of good health. - FAMILY.
Today will be spent having lots of food and fun with family....and lots and lots of time on Charlie's "motorcycle".
Little Charlie last year on Thanksgiving! It is crazy how in one year he can look so different!
Happy Thanksgiving! :)
